Easy Integration into any EMR System

For clinics working with a large population of patients with ICDs or CRT-Ds, managing device information can be time-consuming and labor intensive. You need access to patient data in order to deliver quality care. To that end, the LATITUDE Patient Management system now has the capability to integrate with any EMR system.

The LATITUDE system uses HL7® (Health Level Seven) interface standards and data encryption technology to securely send device interrogation data to your clinic's network.

From there, this data may be imported into your EMR or device management system.

Leading EMRs, such as GE Centricity®, are partnering with Boston Scientific to create seamless, end-to-end integration solutions. The LATITUDE system's automatic integration feature provides the following benefits:

• electronically transfers a summary of the follow-up data to the EMR

• provides fast, easy access to patient heart health and specific device information

• allows you to return to LATITUDE with the click of a button if you need more detailed device information

Integration with the Medtronic Paceart® System

Many clinicians use the Medtronic Paceart System to manage their patients' device data in lieu of, or in addition to, a full-featured EMR system. For this reason, Boston Scientific has collaborated with Medtronic to enable the integration of LATITUDE data into Paceart. This electronic transfer of data is easy. Simply dismiss the patient in LATITUDE and the data will transfer to Paceart automatically. The LATITUDE system's automatic integration feature:

• reduces the need for manual entry of device data

• helps facilitate a streamlined, paperless office

• minimizes the potential for data entry errors

To enable this integration, your IT staff will need to locally install software applications available upon request from Boston Scientific.
